FBI traces Bigcas bikes' trailes

MANILA, Philippines — Two employees of a moving company in Houston, Texas, told the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that luxury car and motorcycle dealer Lynard Allan Bigcas had loaded vehicles into shipping containers bound for the Philippines.

Jose de Leon and Janet Bosma, who worked for All Points Moving and Storage (APMS) in Houston, Texas, provided statements to the FBI along with several other witnesses which could bolster the smuggling case in the Philippines against Bigcas.

The FBI has forwarded the statements to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Bosma, who knew Bigcas since 2005, said she saw him sometime last January wheeling 10 motorcycles into containers.

De Leon said he had helped Bigcas load his vehicles into containers four or five times.

“He never paid us, maybe bought us lunch or a six pack of beer. Allan [Bigcas] told me that he was shipping the containers to the Philippines,” De Leon said.

In his own statement to the FBI, LLC owner Eric Christian Peterson said Bigcas had hired him in Houston to help ship goods to the Philippines.

“It was highly unusual for a middleman shipper as Bigcas was, not to have the containers clear Philippine Customs in the normal course of business,” Peterson said.

“Bigcas told me to change the consignee's name on the Bills of Lading since he had been shipping too many containers to the Philippines,” he said.

He knew the procedure was unusual, but Peterson said he let Bigcas have his way.

Bigcas’ containers would be transported by train from Houston to the West Coast then loaded onto a steamship bound for Singapore.

Once the steamship docked in Singapore, the container would be transferred to a “feeder ship,” which can navigate the shallow waters of Mindanao, Peterson said.

Peterson said the shipment took about 45 days to reach Cagayan de Oro City.

He provided the FBI with copies of the documents and invoices of Bigcas' shipments from January 1, 2008 to February 25, 2011.

Once a container arrived in the Philippines, the consignee would pay Vanguard Logistics Services, the document fee and terminal handling fee.

“Vanguard furnishes the consignee with a release order upon presentation by the consignee of a passport, Inventory List, and payment of above fees,” Peterson explained. “The consignee or representative arranges for transportation of the container to destination.

I want an ar type gun, plus a good deer/coyote rifle. I figure this way I can kill two birds with one stone. I was gonna get a tikka t3 lite, browning x bolt or winchester m70 in 25-06 and .223 ar-15 but it makes more since to me to buy one of these 243's. Which of these do u think would be of better quality and most accurate. If you know of any others plz chim in. I wish spikes tactical made one, even if it was in 308 id prry buy it.
