, Chills or fatigue. I am not sure if you are at a high risk though I know younger people are at a higher risk than the elderly. Pneumonia is one of the biggest concerns so especially with your symptoms I would place the call. They can also prescribe antivirals if they think that would help though I think they work best during the first day or two. Rest, drink lots of fluids and stay home from school/work so you don’t spread it. Feel better.

Answer by AmyMichelle There will be a tracking system up and running for side effects. My advise is for you to call the toll free number for the CDC, call your Dr office and ask for the nurse to call you back and report your symptoms to her or him.

If you had anything a cold or other virus you may experience these symptoms.

For future refrence when you are on your own do not get a vaccine with in 2wks of any illness.

Answer by pinknurse17 absolutely call your doctor now. tamiflu is the current treatment for the flu and unless you start taking it within the first 48 hours of symptom onset you will not benefit. it is an antiviral which will help you overcome the swine flu. the mist is in fact a live virus, so it is possible that caused it, but you would not have been immune so soon so you could have picked it up somewhere else. no matter where it came from you need tamiflu, lots of rest, and plenty of fluids! Hope you feel better soon. Stay home, don’t want to spread it around.
