Filming of scenes for independent movie creates buzz in southwest Ohio town

GOSHEN, Ohio — Filming for an independent movie starring Val Kilmer is bringing some excitement to a usually quiet rural township in southwest Ohio.

The Cincinnati Enquirer ( http://bit.ly/pn6TE9 ) reports crews began shooting the thriller "Seven Below" this week. Much of it will be filmed near Goshen, about 20 miles northeast of Cincinnati.

At one point, movie crews were working on a crash scene just down the road from Debbie Bailey's home. She says she was thrilled when several actors' stand-ins asked to use her restroom.

The newspaper says most of the filming will happen at a 19th-century farmhouse in the area.

The movie is about a group of people trapped at the site of a tragedy that occurred a century earlier.

You do not need to live in Bethel because they send the Bethel Journal to your US Postal mailbox. You only need to be on an Enquirer route. If you live in Clermont County like me then you get a year’s subscription to the Bethel Journal and the Sunday Enquirer for $18 per YEAR! That is $0.35 per week! If you live in another county it is still only $20 per year for both papers (only $0.28 per week)! I’ve been getting six papers a week for well over a year and it only costs me $108 per year. You do need to pay up front. I started one year when I got my tax return to make it easier for me. The lady at the Bethel Journal is only part time but she has always been so helpful to me when she got back to me. I sure hope this helps some of you out!

The Sunday Enquirer will come to your front door as long as you are on an Enquirer route. The Enquirer will not come in the mail.
