Sapp bolts camp, perhaps for good

Comeback of the day: After being tossed aside like a rag doll in press coverage against tight end Brent Celek during 1-on-1 drills, diminutive safety Colt Anderson came back on his next chance and broke up a touchdown pass to Celek. Anderson, who gives up about 60 pounds to Celek, fought hard to stick with the tight end. He's the Rudy of the Eagles' secondary.

Reach of the day: Not only did rookie safety Jaiquawn Jarrett have Rod Harper covered down the left sideline full-team drills but the second-round pick also reached up to deflect Mike Kafka's deep pass.

Thud of the day: Jamar Wall, a longshot to make the team at cornerback, helped his chance by drilling wide receiver Gerald Jones to break up a pass. We haven't seen a cornerback hit like that since Sheldon Brown's last camp.

Camp climber: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie looks fairly comfortable in his new surroundings. He leaped high to pick off a pass intended for Rod Harper during receiver-cornerback drills and later put blanket coverage on Riley Cooper from the slot to deflect the pass.

Camp downer: Joselio Hanson lost the battle between slot cornerback and slot receiver when he fell for two fakes from Jason Avant during 1-on-1 drills and lost the receiver, who caught a touchdown in the corner of the end zone.

The Unique Features Of Ragdoll Kittens

Ragdoll kittens are those cats that are yet to reached maturity in growth. They are neither babe nor adult. As a breed, ragdolls have fascinating history and also are marked by some interesting characteristics that help one distinguish them from various other cat breeds.

Ragdolls date back to the 1960s when a lady, Ann Baker, first bred them. Baker was the owner of a white, non-pedigreed, regular, Angora Persian cat that had been hurt in an automotive accident. Her cat, which was named Josephine, was checked into a University of California veterinary hospital and attended upon.

As Baker’s story goes, Josephine was not the same cat anymore after came home from the veterinary hospital. Josephine’s character had changed in such a manner that whenever someone picked her up, she would go limp bodily. Baker went on to breed Josephine with various cats and ultimately produced the breed that we now call the ragdoll. This cat breed, the ragdoll, is referred to as such because when held in the hand, it is able to simply go totally limp. This is akin to the toy of the child, known as the rag doll.

While this breed of cats have an interesting history setting them apart from other breeds, they also have other intriguing characteristics that make them quite unique. Ragdolls, which can be described as having traditional characteristics, are well known for having large, exquisite blue eyes. Among those described as nontraditional, bluish green or a greenish copper eyes are common.

One other interesting characteristic of this breed of cats is their colorpoint coats. This is a coat that an animal has where the color found at its extremities such as the face, paws, tail and so on are darker in color whereas the color of the rest of the animal’s body is much lighter. Ragdoll kittens while they are by and large born white, they acquire a colorpoint coat as they grow older.

The characteristic of this breed that most distinguishes it from many other breeds of cats is its temperament. This breed is well known for being characterized by docility, calmness and the facility with which one can manage them. If one were to look to become a cat owner for the fist time, then ragdoll kittens ought to be a starting point.
